about changecase

Mission

evolution

Originally begun in February of 2008, this is a website that I am hand coding in XHTML and CSS for the purpose of self-education. This site is constantly evolving. As I learn more, this site becomes more complex.

significance of changecase

The changecase function is present in many software programs that are closely involved in formatting text. Its a command that allows you to change the letter case of a selected piece of text (into Title Case, lowercase, UPPERCASE, or Sentence case).

The basic information that the text contains is the same, but its presentation changes. As my coding knowledge increases, I've found that the changecase function operates similarly to CSS in my mind.

It also shows parallels to my own development.

I have years of training as a Fine Artist, but have found ways to apply my Art knowledge to design. The basic skill set remains the same, but the application has changed.
